Google stores patients’ physical condition records

Google Inc. will start storing the medical accounts of a few thousand people as it trials a long-awaited health service that’s probable to raise more anxiety about the volume of responsive information entrusted to the search leader of Internet.

The pilot plan to be Thursday announced will involve 1,500 to 10,000 patients at the Cleveland hospital who volunteered to a transfer electronic of their personal health details so they can be retrieved through Google’s new service, which won’t be open to the common public.

Every health profile, including information about instruction, allergies and medical histories, will be defended by a password that’s also essential to use other Google services, such as personalized search tools and e-mail.
